Tucked away in the Sandown vicinity with incredibly reasonable prices, I chose to spend 2 nights at Marion Lodge and had a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, Tandile (if my memory serves me right 🙈) made me feel welcome with her friendly and attentive service. The lodge boasts a charming, cozy atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home. I stayed in Room 5, which was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was a standout feature, offering a selection of fresh and delicious options. The owners were exceptionally friendly, and I saw them twice during my stay. They checked in with me privately to ensure everything was to my liking. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable place to stay!

The room we booked was small, but comfortable. There was AC with heater as well, the shower was good and the bed was comfortable. It was very clean also. The staff were nice and the location was very safe.

It was soooo peaceful… candice and the rest of the staff were so helpful and friendly… it’s only the night shift guy who wasn’t as friendly… I had a spaghetti bolognaise from their kitchen… it was soooo delicious filling I couldn’t finish it… the breakfast was nice… I loved it

The establishment is very well situated close to the Sandton CBD. The rooms are simple, smallish but adequate, clean, and comfortable. It is very secure, staff are very helpful and available. It is very good value for money. For me, it is a perfect place to stay for a short business trip in Johannesburg. Breakfast is extra, but reasonably priced and very good.

Staff were super helpful and friendl - a special shout out to Humphrey and the security - what an amazing bunch. Rooms were always cleaned so promptly every single day. The fact that the establishment had power during loadshedding was absolutely fantastic.

The property is powered by solar panels so there was no interruption at all by the power cuts in the city (load shedding). The location is tranquil while also being close to the centre of Sandton which is a huge advantage. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable looked great too. Everything was clean.

Every thing! Besides being clean, quite and very good location. The place ha a very warm and loving vibe, the management aunt Nesrin and her staff were very friendly and extremely nice. I have stayed in 10 different hotels over 2 months in SA, this was the best to end my trip with. If I ever get back to Joburg, I know I have a home there
